"bla bla bla no 3D, bla bla bla no The Answer, bla bla bla missing content (because no 3D)"
Yes, that's the flaw about Persona 3 Portable, I can't blame them too much because they fit P3 content into a portable game handheld. Is it really that bad? No, actually.

When they sacrifice something, they tweak the gameplay. Everything I said in Persona 3 FES review, they already fixed here. So many QoL updates in this version that I can't tell every single one in here.

Of course, you can't fully experience "SMT Persona 3" moment, but at least it covers you "what is happening in Persona 3".

Yes, it has great storytelling, more content (The Answer), you can use different weapon categories, and it's 3D. But if you ask me which one is better for gameplay, I prefer P3P.

Persona 3 FES gameplay is too stiff. It's too slow, you can't change party equipment from main menu. You need to go to Tartarus and talk to them.

You want to use party healing? You need to talk to them and request healing. Not only that, they will heal every single party in the area, you can't choose which one needs to heal.

And the last one is no direct command, which means you can't control what they gonna do. It's not really a problem to me, but it's funny how previous persona you could control the party and they just removed it from Persona 3 FES.

Is it a bad game? Of course not. I recommend you play this first before playing Persona 3 Portable so you not missing persona 3 experience.

I had no idea why people didn't like Final Fantasy II. I have fun with this game. Maybe there are a couple of things I didn't like.
The first one is the job system, there is none. Everyone can become a warrior and mage at the same time. It's even worse when you need to use magic to level up your MP. The grinding is real with one. And don't forget that every magic has a different level, so use it very often to level up your magic.
Okay, that was a part I didn't like. Now is the good stuff (in my opinion ofc). The story itself is really a step up from before. There is a conflict between areas and so many tragic happen in one game (kinda sad). The next one is a monster in some area, when you meet a monster that can kill you easily, that means you go the wrong way. And the last one, the last boss is less frustrating than the first one. It's easy enough to understand how to beat them.

Yes, there are pros and cons to this game, but in my opinion, the upgrade from before exists. It's not much, but I like it
