crack crack crack the controller into the wall

WHY IS STAGE 4 SO HARD AND WHY DOES THE STUPID CHICKEN HAVE TO SHIT ON THE COUNTER

No, game critics weren't exaggerating. This game is flaming garbage. It's higher budget shovelware.

Never been interested in VNs, so this was my first one.

and it may be one of my new favorite games. If Sega's idea of april fools jokes is really fucking good and charming side games, keep 'em coming please!

edit: i bought the ace attorney trilogy because of this game

Overall, really fun game for just a $15 price tag. As long as the online doesn't die immediately like with the other Kirby spinoffs on Switch, I can see myself coming back to this with decent frequency. Enjoyed it a lot more than Air Ride. Alongside Forgotten Land, great celebration of Kirby's 30th. :)

My only issue is that the motion controls can get a bit inconsistent, and some of the song choices are... interesting (seriously, where's samba de janeiro???), but the button controls are perfect; and i'm glad to have my boy back. :)

This might be really controversial, but I don't understand how this game was ever pushed as an example of the classic games being good. I honestly think this game is tedious, annoying, and just bad. I'd rather just play Sonic Mania's Stardust Speedway over and over.

After so many years of waiting to play Mario RPG, the time finally came and it was as magical as I thought it would be. It absolutely lives up to the hype.
It's not exactly a revolutionary RPG, nor is the narrative groundbreaking, but everything is so alive and full of character.

The action commands are gimmicky but not in a way that's obtrusive. In fact, they help enhance what is an otherwise - to its benefit - very simple combat system in a way that's super engaging. On top of that, the new Triple Moves are a perfect addition.

The soundtrack, both old and remade, are amazing, and the new visuals are absolutely stunning and modernize the original game's visuals in very authentic fashion.

I have a handful of minor criticisms with the game, but they're just that. Minor.
Overall, Super Mario RPG is a fantastic experience I would recommend to anybody, and is now one of my favorite games of all time.

...also, can we have Geno and Mallow in Mario Kart and Smash and a true sequel and everything else, pls?

Switch Sports is just as fun as the Wii Sports games. The sports all have that wacky, yet satisfying gameplay that's so iconic to the series.

However, as much as nintendo fans like to overly whine about "charm", a big part of these games' appeal was playing all these sports as your Miis. And while you CAN do that, clearly it was an afterthought, as the Sportsmates have lots of customization that would've been really fun for Miis, but Miis can't equip them. Plus, Wuhu Island getting left behind just makes this game feel like an unnecessary and pointless attempt to "evolve" the series. It's not that big of a deal, but it does devalue the experience a tiny bit.

Also Badminton serves zero purpose here when we already have tennis.

I REALLY wanted to like this, but it's just... so boring? The combat isn't that satisfying, the story isn't really interesting from what i played, and the narrator won't shut the fuck up. Also i don't like how the world looks.

also what the fuck is the point of the customization and classes it adds nothing it feels implented just because other popular games have it

It's not bad, but it's... nothing. I mean, it was $1. But still.

The game in its core is good. The story is great, the music is top notch, and there's very noticeable improvements in the character models and their animations compared to Sword and Shield.

...but the performance is so unbelievably dogshit, to the point it actively makes the experience worse. The game lags and stutters all the time, even if you so much as move the fucking camera sometimes, the texture work is horrid especially on cliffs, and the world overall just looks embarrassing in a way it wouldn't have been considered good even 15 years ago. There's also a handful of really odd QoL steps back from the previous games. Also, voice acting is painfully overdue.

it's just a 99 game, but it's cute. nice to see nintendo show interest in the franchise.

Really good video game, still holds up (which is weird to say about a Gamecube game).

but fucking hell those damn chozo ghosts and boss fights hold this game back a bit. Who in the phazon-infested hell okayed that.

The bosses are actually really cool.

That's about it. I mean, you can't ever go too wrong with Bomberman gameplay, but this one was just boring.

Good game from the couple hours of it I got to play, but considering the flashing lights made me physically sick, it's unlikely i'll ever beat it lol.
