This game was worth the wait so far I really like the level design and this games content is so much more than the first game. I did run into a bit of glitches but I'm glad the developers were able to update the game constantly so they pretty much fixed some issues I had with the beginning of the game
2022
I haven't enjoyed a Sonic game since Sonic Generations and Sonic Frontiers has exceeded my expectations. The Story of the game is better than the previous game and it's so good to see these characters in character again. I like the Open Zone formula and combat system it does have its flaws like pop in and some animation jank but it was fun to play but there can be some improvement. My only flaw with the game has to be Cyberspace because this is like the 4th time they rely on past levels like Green Hill and the controls are not that fun compared to the open zone. All in all I put this game up there with Unleashed, SA2, and Sonic 3K being my favorite Sonic games I hope they do more with this formula
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is the culmination of everything I like in a video game great story, likable characters, and interesting world to explore with loads of content to do I'm still playing this game discovering new areas, experimenting with classes, and doing challenge modes thanks to the updates this game is getting. It has become my favorite game of all time and the lead up to this game was worth the wait
Azure striker Gunvolt 3 is a fast pace game that has perfected the Gunvolt gameplay. The only flaw I can give with this game is that the narrative doesn't feel like a follow up to Azure striker Gunvolt 2 but the gameplay still makes up for the that. I'm looking forward to the epilogue mode for the story this was a really great game all the way through
Pokemon Legends Arceus is a breath of fresh air for the pokemon series but it also feels a bit repetitive after awhile and the beginning of the game is kind of a drag. After awhile the game does get really fun having the freedom to go out in the open fields to catch Pokemon is really fun and entertaining but that's all your going to do there is barely any trainers battles and sometimes grinding for materials can get tedious. When it comes to the games challenge I thought it was better than what the previous games it actually makes you think. This game is pretty unique and is a step in the right direction for Pokemon but it's not as replayable as the other games
2022
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet should have not come out this year because we already got legends Arceus this year early 2022. But oh my god I loved this game I haven't enjoyed a Pokemon game like this since Black 2 and White 2 because it threw in a lot of curveballs for me. The games performance is still inexcusable but I didn't run into any glitches compared to most people I seen on the Internet but this needs to be addressed to other people playing the game to. I also got to say the final stretch to the end of the game was something I wasn't expecting. I suggest going in this game blind but I still suggest to cautiously approach this game or wait for another patch update because the games performance can be a laggy. I also love the new Pokemon and I'm glad we got over 100 new species again the last generation that had over 100 new Pokemon was Black and White which was over a decade ago. The open world design of the game felt kinda inconsistent with it's challenge sometimes it can be difficult while other times it's mindlessly easy I hope in the next game they can add a level scaling but I didn't stop me from exploring the Paldea region and the tera battles are a lot of fun. All in all Pokemon Scarlet and Violet game design wise is a massive improvement over Sword and Shield but performance wise it should have not come out for the holidays and more time needed to be cooked in the oven because this was such an ambitious pull from Game Freak. After this game I hope this is a wake up call to finally stop releasing these Pokemon games yearly it was okay during the handheld days but now we are on modern hardware with the Nintendo switch there needs to be more of a year gap with Pokemon games now
Trails in the Sky FC is such a good start to what's to come in the next games I'm really looking forward to what SC will have to offer because the story kept me hooked from beginning to end and I like how this series revolves around world building and how it progresses. What I also like is the party members and even the npcs get wacky dialogue explaining about their lives while your progressing through the story which makes the world feel alive than just generic NPCs you talk to and they say the same stuff. The battle system also kept me engaged I'm not that much of a fan of turn base games except for Pokemon, Persona, Mario RPGs, and Chrono trigger but this one is really good and revolves around your skill and out smarting your opponents.

I don't really play Splatoon for the story mode but I've always love participating in the multiplayer aspect of it and it's still the same fun I had with the previous game. I even got to participate in my first Splatfest #Team Spicy all the way and it has made more competitive that I want to do more stuff like this with Splatoon 3
I haven't completed my runs yet and I have gotten close but this is an insanely fun and customizable ROM hack. Every now and then I would always love to go back and build different kinds of teams and I like how the game puts you at a level cap whenever you reach a gym leader and they are all challenged in a random order and the difficulty of the game was just right
