best puzzle game since tetris

great ending, but the story is okay.
the combat is kinda underwhelming because i did all the side content the moment i was able to so i got very overpowered.
i would literally do 1/4th of a boss' health in one hit.

the second greatest ending to a video game. the first being rdr2

this was one of the better yakuza games, with probably the best ending.
it felt kinda gimmicky for there to be 5 playable characters.
shinada just felt kinda rushed because he only had a 3 light hit combo.
also the entire saejima part is so boring, especially the hunting minigame.
i got way more playtime on haruka that i thought i would, she was just a lot of fun to play.

this game excels in one-on-one combat yet for some reason it loves throwing group fights at you. this game just loves giving you combat when it is not necessary.
i didnt really understand the story because it was so all over the place for me. but im more of a gameplay guy, so it doesnt really matter to me.

the absolute peak of this game is the final fight. its so thrilling, so emotional, and so much fun.
the story was okay in this game.
everything else was pretty meh. the combat is so ass (except for the final fight) it was so annoying and frustrating. it got to the point where whenever i get forced into a street fight, i literally just reload my save because i dont want to deal with it.
also which dumbass thought it would a good idea to have infinitely respawning enemies in the flower triad officer fight?

the combat was great in this one but the leveling system was a bit convoluted. the story is great, with the final fight being the absolute peak of this game.
there was also just so much dialogue. so many nothing burgers were said, especially in the majima saga. and i fucking hate sayama im so glad that korean guy punched the shit out of her.

the combat in this game was really really annoying. sometimes it gets really frustrating, but its worth it for the side quests.

the game was so good my power went out in the credits so i had to do the last mission all over again

one of the best stories ever told in video game history, with fun gameplay. kinda empty open world though.

whenever you open the menu your character changes his stance/the way hes standing and goes back to his original stance when you close it.

2022

not my type of game, but still fun nonetheless.

short little game about a turnip boy who commits tax evasion

the first metroidvania i've played, and the best metroidvania i've played.
