I'm 80 hours in at level 46 all of the stratagems unlocked and most ship upgrades at level 3 and on the last page of all but one warbond, so I think I can call this "completed," even though I'm still regularly playing with my friends.

One of the greatest co-op games ever conceived I think, just a magnificent execution of a simple concept backed by an evolving narrative driven by the playerbase's victories and defeats. I look forward to decimating the enemies of Super Earth for years to come.

I love rallying its so fun and relaxing I would totally do this in real life but I would probably crash multiple times and break all the bones in my body when i crash into a mountain at 200kph

good autistic game to reset your sleep schedule
paradox interactive multiplayer is unimaginably bad, as always
paradox interactive DLCs are plentiful and pricey, as always

Yeah I remember this game, I remember the dialogue never stopping between my failed attempts to accomplish any of my goals too. Why do racing games always have to have people talking in them?

A lot of people shit on this game but this was the second coming of Christ for me. I built like thirty thousand cars and helicopters in every conceivable shape and size, this was Garry's Mod to me before I knew it existed. That skeleton guy talks your ear off too, I played it so much he was basically my dad for a while

My body is a machine that turns very promising jokers into lost runs

Intentional comedy in games seems to be incredibly difficult to get right but Helldivers did it by creating the perfect Starship Troopers game. The visual tone of everything is so serious that all the shouting about exploding insect monsters for "democracy" hits just that little bit harder.

The gameplay is very tight, with most of the silliness coming from how easy it is to shoot/launch an airstrike on your friends. It's been a while since I've enjoyed a co-op game this much (that wasn't Monster Hunter). Missions can be as long or as short as you want them to be, making it perfect for just jumping on for a bit.

There's also been the added benefit of people with no media literacy outing themselves as idiots when they go online to babble about not understanding the fascism satire in this and Starship Troopers.

it is sad to see politics (overloaded servers) hold us back from our destiny
for real though, its such a good fucking game, the servers suck right now, but im sure it will get fixed.

Fully rewriting my review at this point now that I've sunk a lot more time into it and the devs have ironed out all the server limit issues.
This game is genuinely awesome. 40 dollars for a PVE experience that can be filled with absolute laughs amongst friends or incredible moments that make you feel like Super Earth's strongest soldier.
The multiple difficulty tiers feel reasonably balanced as a whole, the multiple tiers might seem initially off-putting but it allows for players to fine-tune the level of difficulty they want from the game without having it feel too hard or too easy.
Progression is formatted like a battle pass system which might seem initially off-putting but the devs have stated that all passes are permanent, and the free pass has 3 times the content of the first premium pass and a majority of it is really good for late-game content. Not only that, the pass gives you plenty of premium currency to buy armor from the shop or save up and buy the premium pass, so the game doesn't feel pay to win.
The only major complaint I'd have with this game is it's weapon balancing. A few weapons in the game will be used exclusively into the endgame, but the disparity between the good and bad weapons is so huge its not even funny. If a weapon its bad, its unusable even on lower-difficulties with how unsatisfying they feel. The game needs a balance wave to boost other weapons to the same level as the weapons that are good, hopefully without nerfing any of the good weapons. Armor also needs to be properly fixed and working, but the developers are aware of that as of this review's writing.

Another great time to start off the amazing 2 months of 2024, its always great when a new horde shooter gets released and its a perfect experience to play with friends. One thing this does say is this that playstation should push to have their games released more day 1 on both PS & PC.

Of course a PC release is going to have its problems when the game has been built to play on PS5, ive seen not stop reviews of people having performance issues or crashes. I had a point where i was crashing for about 5minutes but the problem fixed itself, and my pc is less powerful than people reviewing with 30series/40series (im owning 1660ti / 2700X) and my game is running smooth and perfectly fine at a good 60-70fps.

Allegedly kernel level anti cheat (same tier as Vanguard level anti cheat) is something to consider, though it doesn't seem to have any impact on the game. you probably don't need to care about it.

Can't be that bad of a bad purchase at £35 when other studios are dropping a game at £70 at less quality than what this game released at. Its been given a update on what is to expected from the game, roadmap, free updates, new mobs, weapons etc. I think the game will be a major hit or major miss for most people, largely depending on if your hardware agrees with the game or not. The gameplay itself is extremely fun and challenging depending on your difficulty, with quite a lot of replayability with friends.

I expect alot of the problems people are encountering right now will be fixed as soon as possible (at the time of this post there's already been a hotfix)

If you love horde shooters and wanted something bat-shit crazy to play, this would be the game to play. With amazing sound design, a variety of missions and weapons, hilarious moments to share with friends & already confirmed updates to add towards the game with developers watching how everyone's reception is, there's only a good track record to where the game could end up.

Offers a scathing critique of American exceptionalism and in particular, the individualist great man theory narrative associated with Abraham Lincoln by paralleling him and other American icons to one of the few things as bad as America: Fire Emblem

A short and very fun take on Celeste in a 3D environment. The N64-esque presentation is charming and the level design feels well thought out. There's even a small amount of speed tech to utilize within the physics engine even if the skill ceiling is much lower the the original game. I do think the controls could use some fine tuning, one or two of the berries are a little too obscure, and the lack of any substantial plot-line is a bummer. But considering it was developed in a week and released for free, it's easy to overlook a lot of these issues and have a great time. Hopefully we can get an expansion of this into a full game after Earthblade comes out.

I had tons of fun with this one! Having played some Jet Set as a kid I was thoroughly excited to try this when it came out and it didn't disappoint. My biggest complaint would be that, in my opinion, the game is SUPER heavy on style over substance, but the style is so strong that it didn't bother me too much. The plot often serves little purpose other than getting you to the next area or introducing a new character. The premise was interesting, but I feel like having more time to cook as well as more moments for characters to really grow with each other would've made this a truly memorable experience. Also think maybe like a 5-10% general speed increase too would make it more exciting. Overall beautiful game with beautiful music and tons of style.

I Wanna Kno and Operator were my favorite tracks <3

This is the first game of the Metro saga based off the books with (in this case) the same name and i simply cant explain how much i loved this game and all of the games that came after this.

I decided to play this one before the redux version due to the fact that i got this one on steam when they gave it for free and oh god what a surprise of a game.

From some of the people who made the stalker games we got this game with settled on a post apocaliptic moscow in the year 2033 where the world has been destroyed due to WW 3, as a consequence of this now the world is filled with monsters and the surface is so toxic and radioactive that the people had to go underground and make their lifes in the moscow metro system.

The first thing I want to talk about its his atmosphere which oh god how I loved it, every level tells you more about the world just by how it is done, the dirty and filthy metro tunnels where monster crawl and can attack you anytime, always told to maintain your guard up cuz you never know when you're going to get attacked by one of the monsters that walk around those same tunnels. How in every station you visit you can see the state people have to live and survive in, how in many occasions throughout the games we celebrate with our friends after surviving a trip through those tunnels and the surface cuz the fact that we're alive after facing those hazards is a real miracle..

[Spoilers] And moments like the mission where the kid we're rescuing is amazed by the sky, something he has never seen and talks about how he is going to tells his friends about it.

[Not more spoilers] The game is crafted in a way that you can inmerse yourself into his world in such an easy way that you're gonna find yourself cheering everytime you come alive of a trip in the surface, smilign with your commrades everytime you come out alive with them, feeling the death of some of them and feeling your heart beat faster everytime you're in a situation close to death. Fr the game is really helpfull with the autosaves, saving everytime you enter a new zone but still you dont feel fear cuz you're gonna have to go back and do everything again, you're gonna feel pain cuz you're going to be so inmerse that you're gonna do anything to survive like if that was the only life you had..

This is game is just awesome and deserves its rating...
