Favorite Levels of All-Time
A lot of games, unfortunately, need to be excluded because they don't have a traditional "level" system. I do not think the level system is better or worse than the open-world system, they're just different.

The very famous Warthog Run is still one of the most bad ass, memorable video game levels ever made. I did this over 15 years ago and it still lives rent free in my head.

Just thinking about this stage gives me chills. Few times in my life have I been as hyped as I was in this moment in this game. Just so unbelievably epic.

This one should surprise no one. Is it overrated? Absolutely fucking not. This level is incredible and changed the FPS genre forever. Yes, it may get talked about a lot but that's because it deserves the praise.

HOLY what an unreal, bizzaro, fever-dream, outrageous sequence this was. I still can't believe this level, and this game as a whole, exists.

Chapter 8 - "Milton & Lewis"
Specifically regarding the Lewis segment. Man this one hit very close to home. The way they portrayed the sheer depression and development of schizophrenia through this menial job, all in a few minutes, was masterclass storytelling. This level bumped the game up an entire star.
