This was a long time coming. Pokemon Stadium is distilled nostalgia for me, I played it all the time growing up. However, I would always just mess around in the game, and I never actually tried to beat it as a kid. But I finally took the time to beat it (with only rentals no less, since I did it on Switch).

This game holds up remarkably well and is still a ton of fun to play with friends. It's very sad that Pokemon is unlikely to get another battler like this anytime soon, and even if we did, it's unlikely it would have been given the time and care it needs to be great.
