Goddamit i love this series and is a wonderful conclusion to the “alvis bullshit”series. It recontextualizes a lot of what happens in base 3 and seeks to explain a lot, but still has some big plotholes itself. The main problem I have with it, and it has been a problem throughout the series, is characters with seemingly nothing to do, which this time is glimmer and nikol. Because they are founders, you’d expect them to have a little more attention than what they were given, but a lot of that was probably given to rex and shulk. A and Matthew are fantastic and definitely the highlight of the whole thing. They work very well off each other and it’s just fun to see their banter, even if it was a lot less approaching the end game.
