Lot of the main quests feel like filler, but it's not so much that it's annoying. They just kinda break the immersion of the urgency of saving the world, and it gets much better towards the end.

Why, why, why, why, why would the devs do this to me?

Edit: Now that some days have passed, I can actually write my full opinion. This is the saddest game I've ever played, and I love it for it. The story is brutally realistic (given the setting), and I don't think the game felt repetitive because of the various options that we have to navigate each encounter. I know these narrative linear games often get called boring, but to each their own. Hugo is such a sweet and innocent character. Watching his bond grow with his sister, Amicia, is a wild journey with a wild ending, and both voice actors have done an amazing job.

I'd go as far as to say that Amicia's voice actress didn't win at the Game Awards only because of the complexity of the lines themselves and the script, because her delivery was brilliant every single time, and I think it was a crucial part of connecting with her character.

After Valhalla I felt like I never wanted to play AC again, but this game was a pleasant surprise. Even if the story isn't that special, it finally feels like an AC game like the old days and the length is perfect to not get burned out.

I was going for the platinum, but had to remind myself that I should be playing games for fun. Abandoned it at 95% after seeing the ammount of annoying sidequest before the final quests of the game because I couldn't stand it anymore. When I started the game I was enjoying it a lot, but it quickly became super boring and the game's super easy with no option to make it a bit harder (I usually play games on "normal" difficulty, not even an hardcore enjoyer). I really struggled to have fun with the gameplay as you really need to go out of your way to make it challenging and wait until you unlock different Eikons to have a bit more variety.

Towards the end I even started skipping cutscenes because I did not care about the characters or story.

The game's really good overall, but the performance is a complete joke even in "Performance" mode. I thought the issues were only on PC, but the game quickly starts playing as if you were trying to run it on a PS4... which is sad considering it didn't even come out on old consoles.

When I was almost reaching the end of the chore of collecting all collectibles the game crashed while fast travelling and I lost all my progress on that front (I assume the file got corrupted and I lost much more than 10h ) so I will never touch this game again in my life and would like to rate it lower

Terrible game, I hate myself for staying up until 4am to get the Platinum trophy for it. Could be a kid's game, but the controls suck...

Has big room for improvement, hopefully it keeps getting supported. I love the concept and the time I had with the game

Games used to be so hard, me and my brother had such a hard time playing this
