The series as a whole is rich in story, better than most games you find today. After getting attached to the main characters, the choices you make throughout can dramatically affect the story, which is one of the most interesting features in the game. Definitely worth playing through the whole series. High replayability after your first playthrough.

Playing this game with a close friend or loved one is an unforgettable experience.

Simply a masterpiece of what is perceived as a simple game series. The Kirby franchise has always been seen as a 2D platformer or scroller that is aimed at children or for inexperienced players (in terms of gameplay). Although these may be true, the simplistic gameplay styles have always been balanced with new characters, new designs, and above all: New stories. Although the forgotten land doesn't have anything crazy in terms of story, the story becomes enhanced with stunning graphics/scenery, a new way to play the game from a 3D perspective, and a jab at combining real life materials and familiar scenery to the world of Kirby. Plenty of abilities to choose from make the game interesting but nothing tops the music and boss fights. The boss fights presented in the game have been the most interesting, visually pleasing, and exciting to play, not to mention the satisfaction that comes with beating each boss as the game progresses. The music absorbs you in the playing field, immersing you into this forgotten land, destined to beat your foes and make them your allies in Kirby fashion. Not to mention, getting that 100% clear screen makes it all worth while. 10/10 game, a masterpiece.

Similar to a castlevania platformer but with multiple characters to go through and either recruit, kill, or ignore on your journey. The multiple endings, as well as a variety of achievements keep the gameplay fun and interesting without losing your attention. Going for 100% completion of the game is satisfying and rewarding once you reach the end goal. If you haven't played the first one, play that one first before this. The series alone is an enjoyable ride that has something for the newer players, as well as the old (I've played the game on 3 separate platforms so I can't really choose one). 10/10
