One of my favorite 3DS games, I really enjoyed the way the game was setup with items and rewards increasing with higher difficulties, encouraging the player to get better and increase risk while progressing the game.
Gameplay was fun and fast-paced in the on-rail segments that reminded me of the Star Fox games while "on-foot" segments were also fun to explore. Combat was interesting and the number of weapons that were available provided the game with variety. The dialogue and script in this game is great and I really enjoyed the interactions between Pit and Lady Palutena.
Kid Icarus was simply a fun game packed with content (including a fun online multiplayer mode) that revived one of the most obscure series in Nintendo's catalogue so that alone makes this game awesome in my book.
