This game is really good when you look past how slow and archaic it is, a lot of good aspects but it desperately needs a remake

While this game did age a lot, not having a good localization and even some technical problems this games artstyle and simple but enjoyable story really made it a good experience.
The Ost is also astounding, i hope Capcom remakes this gem one day

All though a decent game, i cant really say in good faith that it didn't disappoint me in some aspects.... a lot of the soul that made Tales Of one of my favorites in the first place is straight up gone in this game.
The new gameplay is a 50/50 from me, while fun it really just made it less interactive then before. The plot never really stuck with me and neither did any of the characters get really good in my opinion.
As a hardcore Tales Of fan, id say this game was okay to semi good

Near perfection of a turn based rpg, i dont know how RGG studios did it but this is one of the best turn based RPGS ever created.
Ichiban as a new protagonist is great, his story and new characters he brings are all awesome.
My one complaint of the game is near the later end of the game it forces you to grind, which ive never ever liked.

One of the first Jrpgs i played and enjoyed, but never got to attached to the series itself
This game took over my life for a little bit during highschool and i still look at it fondly, however age has treated this game horribly where a lot of parts in the story drag and feel miserable.

I actually like this game more then HGSS considering it does more to fix gen 2s problems more then the remakes ever did or even tried to do.
Maybe its the classic sprites that make me feel nostalgic but i really do love this game a lot. However age did not treat this one very well compared to other generations

Despite the strange hatred for these games online, i actually love and adore these as games and a remake. Everything is fleshed and modernizes the gen 3 experience with a great story and a good set of pokemon to use during it.
The Delta Episode was an awesome postgame experience, these games have a special place in my heart.

I have a complicated history with these games considering the amount of time I've sinked into them, i dont find myself too attached to the main story or campaign of these games.
A lot of the stuff is missed potential or straight up incomptence, im glad games past this were better in this aspect.

These games are probably my second least favorite or third least favorite in the franchise, the jump to 3D was not to kind to these games and left a lot of aspects lacking within these games.
While good to revisit every once in awhile i cant really rate these games higher then this, nothing about the plot, gameplay or characters really sets it apart from the rest.

This is the generation that got me back into Pokemon personally, it also started my love for shiny hunting and threw me back in the loop of Pokemon in general.
Great story, good usage of mons you can use and a fun gameplay loop.

I played this game a lot when i was younger, but now that I'm older and can see the flaws in a game more i personally think these games are put on a pedestal they shouldn't really be on.
While the story is one of the best the series has seen, certain gameplay elements such as the native species you can catch and HMs really bring down the experience of an otherwise good game.

Fun and exciting to explore, this really saved generation 8 for me as the base games im not to fond of in reality. This served as a staple for the dlc format to come and im glad we can get extra content like this without a new game. The dlc itself is fun but minimal in the plot department.

Even as someone who started with these games, while they are charming they are very archaic by todays standards for a pokemon game. Its third version is easily superior to the debut games, but i have some attachment to these since this and halo 2 started my love for videogames.

One of the best pokemon games in general, Explorers of sky rebalances the gameplay of the originals and puts a genuinely well written story on top of it
Certified classic in my book, i hope we get a remake of this one day!

An amazing remake of the GBA/DS classic, while a little slow with gameplay at times its still a blast to play in the current day!
A wholesome story and an AMAZING soundtrack, this is a certified classic for me!
