Playing this on a CRT in the 90s, it would’ve been awesome. Playing now on a retro handheld it was just ok to play through once.

Wish I had this back on my actual GBA. Beautiful sprites, fast and impactful gameplay for a GBA game. And the best OG Dragon Ball game I’ve played.

Simply a fun game. Fun weapon choices, fun time period to choose.

Played through this on my cousin’s Mac desktop. I was young enough that when you get chopped in half, that scared me. Sword fighting felt great, and the fluidity of the rotoscoped style.

Liked this game for what it was. Flanders’ lightning strikes were OP.
Hit and Run reminds me of prime Simpsons, seasons 4+, whereas this game reminds me of early Simpsons.

Came with my Xbox and Halo in a bundle on my 10th birthday.
Was a surprisingly fun game, got my OC to World Number 1. I remember there being taunts, you’d go up to the net and point your racquet at the opponent.

Probably the first game I ever played, at my neighbour’s house. I used to call it ‘Little Men’. Have only ever beaten it by skipping to World 5, but it’s a classic.

Tried in 2015, thought it was too hard to get into and quickly dropped it.
2024 and I gave it another go, and I’m glad I got into it.
Played about 40 hours, long enough to understand most maps and pick some favourite operators, but not long enough to know the best strats or anything.
I found this unique format to be a breath of fresh air compared to other first person shooters that seem mindless in comparison, and the stakes feel high.

I liked everything Dragon Ball as a kid (still do), so I didn’t mind grinding through this game, but it was definitely disappointing after playing through Webfoot’s Legacy of Goku 2 and Buu’s Fury. I wanted so badly for it to be in the same style as those games.
Playable characters could have been: Goku, Pan, Trunks, Uub, Vegeta.
A kid can dream.

Would’ve loved to play through the full Z series in this format. Loved the hand-drawn-style environments, character moves and team combos were cool and didn’t get old, and I liked seeing slices of life in the Saiyan Saga for all the characters. As a kid, I didn’t grind to get to Broly, but I appreciate a good secret boss, even though Turles might've been a better choice.

From what I remember: unique, unusually detail-oriented to a fault, and janky stick-based fighting. Not gonna go back to it.

A joy to show friends the shooting range, test out guns, and scare them in the hospital in the zombie mode.

Very satisfying to be able to catch all of gen 1-3 in one game.
