Peak horror game when I was a kid

One of the Crash Bandicoot clones that may or may not be worth playing. I used to enjoy this when I was a kid, and now I'm playing it again.

It's like a mix of Skyrim and Dark Souls, but with cats. Sometimes challenging, but there are countless quests and dungeons to explore, along with some awesome references to other games.

I had a computer teacher who, after class, allowed students to play on the computers. My classmates and I used to play this game when we were in the fourth grade.

I played and completed the game with a childhood friend. We haven't talked in a long time, but I know he will remember this game someday.
