A fresh take on the "soulslike" genre.
Bursting with, charm, talent, and passion, every step of the way.
The story is poignant yet simple. The voice acting is top notch and genuinely gave me chills at points. Yet I think it is largely underated, probably due to the quality of most other aspects of the game.
The combat is smooth and satisfying, flashy but withheld, all the animations are near perfect except for a few moves that have some clipping issues.
The visual quality is where it can lose some people, it very much can be beautiful, (more often than not) but unfortunately there are a few areas that are lacking in design and texture.
That's about the only real criticism I have for this game though
