The game has bad framerate issues and is kinda buggy but I still had a ton of fun with it. More fun then I've had in years of playing main line pokemon. The best pokemon game to me since gen 5. If you don't think you'll have a problem with low framerate and some bugs then pick up this game it's fun.

Idk man this game is really fun but the story was so god awful and left such a bad taste in my mouth that I never want to revisit this, even if realistically the story doesn't effect the gameplay here.
This game had soooo much potential to be good. Most of the characters are great, the combat with blade switches and blade combos are fun, and the story is pretty good. But so many other things bring this game down exponentially. The story doesn't get going until half way through the game, some of the characters are really obnoxious, and the required gatcha system with ridiculous skill checks in some chapters bring this game down so hard.
I played Torna in between Xenoblade 2 chapter 7 and 8 like how it was originally intended before it was scrapped and made into a dlc. And like I guess it was ok. The story didn't really hook me until the very very end, the characters were nice except for Hugo was purely tact on as an excuse for Brighid to be there, and the combat is definitely better then xenoblade 2. I was having fun with it until the game told me I had to reach community level 4 and all enjoyment dropped.
The side quest for me is the biggest problem and brought down my thoughts the most. If you like doing side quest during the main campaign then you'll like this game but it didn't really hook me.

Story mode is Octo Expansion for people who really wanted to play as a squid in Octo Expansion

Unironically overrated as hell. In a series that lives and dies by it's cast of characters, this game has my personal least favorite, a majority of them are either uninteresting or annoying, with a few diamonds in the rough.

Worst game I've ever played. This game isn't even technically bad like most other games with that title, because at least with that you can get some laughs out of that. This game is just consistently boring and dull, a complete slog to get through at every step. Don't even give this game your time and energy.
