Best shooter I've played hands-down. The fast-paced gameplay and enhanced movement is fantastic, running from wall to wall blasting enemies is great fun. The campaign is also very solid, you really grow connected to BT as you learn from each other and get better as a pilot. there are some really stand out moments that are both graphically and conceptually very well executed (One part later on reminded me of my favourite section in Dishonored 2, except I think Titanfall did it better)
It also has the best mecha gameplay out of any game I've played (If they made a Gundam game with controls like this that would be my wet dream)
It's a shame that the multiplayer is almost completely dead but the upside is that the multiplayer achievements are really easy to get.
This game has completely changed how I look at shooters and is my new gold standard
Protocol 1: Link to Pilot.
Protocol 2: Uphold the Mission.
Protocol 3: Protect the Pilot.

Such an amazing experience of a game. Truly unforgettable.
I just wish the people I've lended or recommended it too were skilled enough to beat the tutorial so they could finish the game lmao
(I've 100%d this on ps4 and regular completed on PC so far)
I've 100%'d this on PS4 and are currently replaying it on PC.
This is a must-play

I've finished this on PS4 and are currently replaying on PC but other than the far easier true ending requirements I really don't enjoy this one as much as the original VII. Also no VR scenes with Nepgear? why even bother
Note: It crashes consistently if you use Vert's Sylhet spear during the F* C fight (Censored for spoilers but hopefully if you're at that point you can tell) if you're on PC, I don't remember it being an issue on PS4
