While this definitely doesn't hold up in recent times i wouldn't say its necessarily bad. Its just reeeeeally dated. It's got that classic "walk 2 inches and fight something" encounter rate that most old JRPGs have. id be lying if i said it didn't get annoying and the he dungeon layouts don't help either. Luckily the combat is good once you get used to it. It can be a bit jarring for people that played persona 3-5 first tho. That didn't stop me from having fun. Overall i dont regret giving it a shot, i may never play it again, but im glad i played it at all. If you like persona in general i think its worth a try. and hey, worst come to worst you can always just watch a walkthrough.
i really wanted this game to be good, but its just another mediocre recycled Bethesda format. if you like fallout and skyrim you will probably like this. even so, the worlds feel bland and empty and while the graphics look nice shitty facial animations that looks straight out of fallout 3 plague the NPCs. bethesda just needs to try something new imo, this format is stale. if you have gamepass then give it a go. if not, wait for the bargain bin.
