Barely deserves to be called a game, what with its complete lack of challenge, player options, fail states, or any form of decision-making at all—it’s more like a fidget toy with (obscenely long) loading screens. Other Lego games will do the bare minimum and throw in a “put these statues in the right orientation” puzzle; The Chase Begins will gesture at this idea, but make it impossible to put the statues in the wrong orientation. I couldn’t imagine playing this for its own sake (or heaven forbid, for a job), but I can’t deny its value as a not-too-distracting distraction, the sort of thing you can play with the TV going and not miss any of the show’s plot.

Look a woman can admit when she was wrong and I'll say it. I was wrong about this game. When this game first cameout I kind of immediately put it down. I was lost and after 3 hours I gave up and went "man this game is fucking boring". Now after 6 fucking years I decided to give it another shot and man. What a video game. I think also what hindered my enjoyment really was me kind of hardcore comparing it to older zelda games which while some things are zelda staples this game is a MASSIVE departure from the usual. I will say after 6 years it is a shock how little I knew of what was in this game. I guess that's what you get when the most you saw is the occasional clip of somebody sprinting to ganon off game start or them bomb launching themselves across the map. So it felt like how everybody else felt day one where everything was new. I was shocked to how well some of the shrines were because of how many there are. Plus the divine beasts felt like true dungeons that were fun to figure out. The big like "oh!" moment I'd get a lot from this game when I figured out a solution and it was very creative was a treat. I enjoyed how this game expands on the story as a whole of hyrule. The supporting cast being very memorable characters that helped add to the world of Hyrule. This game truly was a treat of a video game. I will say now I get it and I am 100% on board for Tears of the Kingdom

My wife is refusing to speak to me again. I keep telling her that I'm speaking to my waifu Futaba, and that we are only theorising our future together. She says I have 4 days to pack all my things.

While far from perfect, it came at the perfect time in my life to speak to me at a level I wasn't ready for. Every character felt like a piece of me put into a hot, stylish anime character. I can't articulate how much those late nights falling asleep on the couch to Layer Cake or Beneath the Mask meant to me, or the quantity of excitement I felt every time Life Will Change or Rivers through the Desert played. It remained fun cover to cover and I felt like I was saying goodbye to real friends as the credits rolled. While I can't be objective, I can say this game is once-in-a-console-gen special.

tied with team fortress 2 for the best multiplayer shooter out there. some of the most fun i have ever had playing a game. perfect campaign and incredible online.

Another Rockstar games done. My opinion on Rockstar's game is usually very similar. They usually have great world, really good story, good mechanics (except shooting which is always mediocre), extremely bad mission design and pacing issues. This game is no exception, for the most part. I think the game still has extremely bad mission design, mission design which is straight up not fun to play through for me, that constant through the entire game. But for the rest I enjoyed it for most of the game except chapter 2. Chapter 2 of this game is what really bring the game down for me. The pacing just dragged, the story and character during isn't interesting at all for the most part, that part of the open world is not very interesting. The rest of the game is really good, with interesting character, I love John a lot. The rest of the world is cool, there's a lot of cool stuff to do.

But yeah chapter 2 bring what would be a 8/10 like most other Rockstar's game to a 7.5/10 for me
