What's true of the first game is still true here, the only thing that's good in this game are the handful of minigames. The main difference here is that Gold/Silver pokemon were added. It still misses the point of a Pokemon game nearly entirely with no catching, no training, no traveling, just pointless battles. I guess the point was to see pokemon fight in 3D, that is no longer a novelty. The minigames were okay!
