Super Mario… IN A 3D WORLD?!

too hard

This game is unlike any experience I’ve had up until this point. I played this game a few years ago, dropped it, and picked it up again. I have t even fully beaten the game yet, but I already know that this game is amazing and worthy of a 10/10. The world is so huge, yet looks so good despite being on the switch for its entire life. The look and feel of this game has never been replicated ever on the switch. This game’s aesthetic and graphics looks miles better above other open world games like Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and Sonic Frontiers that came out nearly 6 years after this game came out. The combat system is also so fleshed out! The staffs are so fun, and the runes are the cherry on top of this giant $100,000 MrBeast golden banana sundae. I’m exited for the sequel as it fixing my main issues with the game with the new runes. It fixes the item durability, and scaling giant mountains that take 5 years to climb. Although rain **** though. I hate the rain. All my homies hate the rain. Also, shrine are great, but I hate some of these like the dueling peaks shrines. I hated them. I also hate the fact that you can’t max out both stamina and hearts without glitches. This just gives people FOMO on whichever stat you don’t max out. Other than those issues, 11/10

Edit: so now, I’ve finished the game. I’m working on %100ing this game, but it’s kinda hard because of the koroks. Koroks are pretty useful early on when you could trade them in for inventory spaces, and hetsu’s gift is pretty funny, but it’s kinda just a waste of time getting all of the koroks. I also bought the DLC, and yeah, it’s pretty fun and heart warming. I still stand by my rating, even after I completed the game.

This game was just alright. The game is really easy, which I would forgive for a kirby game, but it really feels like an unmemorable kirby game. It was also just kinda boring and the gimmick also felt annoying because the friends just kill everyone and keeps you from getting your own ability. The abilities were cool and the guest friends were cool, but other than that, this game was really disappointing.

Cuphead is a great game to play with a friend and rage at. Beating bosses are also satisfying that it makes the gruelling pain of dying over and over and over again worth it. The animation is also very detailed and it also distracts me from the game and makes me die a lot. Every boss in the game is fun to fight (except high noon hoopla) and when looking back on the game footage, you realise how fair this game actually is. The DLC was excellently made. Everything in the dlc was good (except high noon hoopla). Some gripes with the game are that the airplane levels seem more like torture devices because they sometimes feel like overwhelming bullet hell. The run and gun levels also seem kinda forced in, and I feel that 6 more bosses would be better that the run and guns. Other than that, Im glad that this game got a show, and they did an amazing job for an indie game. Im exited to see what this studio pumps out next.

This game isn’t really changing the world with its quality, but it is still expertly designed and fun to play even 6 years later. Very fun with friends and seeing who would get screwed over the most. With the dlc coming out, this game is new and fresh again, and will be held as one of the best mario kart games ever.

This game is very overhated, although their arguments are VERY valid. The game is so glitchy, buggy, and doesn’t look like it should be made by THE MOST successful media franchise ever. Also the visuals in the wild looks like it was from the ps3. But although, Koraidon and Miraidon make the experience way better. A big problem with Pokémon is how is feels so slow when you move, but the legendary fix that problem. I also loved exploring and going to gyms that I was way behind for. Also, love the new quality of life updates. This game would be objectively the best Pokémon game and way more positively accepted by the community if they just spent more time fixing the visuals and the bugs and glitches.

This game in its prime was honestly 10/10, but with lack of support from Nintendo and the over abundance of the “satisfying” levels kinda made me fall off of it. This game added a whole lot to SMM1 but also kinda didn’t. It feels like just one new game style when it said “Extra Games Styles” was kinda off to me. There also wasn’t that much added if you look at it. I’m not saying it felt like a rip off, but I’m saying that it feels like they just put Mario maker on switch just because they had to put it on and they added some extra parts to say “Hey! This game is brand new!” But even with all of these complaints, the things that they did add was fun like link, world maker, story mode, and multiplayer. Would be 10/10 if Nintendo gave this game the splatoon treatment and added new updates all of the time.

This is game is a masterpiece. Sadly, there are some problems like how there is no hub world, the story, and the fact that most kingdoms have an island problem and that really takes away my immersion from this otherwise perfect game. Although, there is more that I love about this game than I dislike. The controls are also the best if any game ever made. Period. The locations are also full of life and not at all like the basic cookie cutter themes like the New Super Mario. Bros games. There is much more that I can talk about like the costume, the captures, the moons, the speedruns, and the Easter eggs of which there are plenty. I would give 6 stars if I could.
