A great story with the best narrative work and performances of the series. Gameplay is what you'd expect from Uncharted, though I do think it lacks some of the variety of previous installments and overstays its welcome toward the last third of the game. Uncharted 2 still maintains its title as best in series but this one gives a valiant effort.
I'm here for more of this caliber Marvel/DC property games, whether it's from Square Enix or Insomniac or whomever. As good as this game's story and dialogue is, I think there's a better version of this that is closer to a Mass Effect style RPG. I never quite felt like I had control over the characters or that dialogue options had anything but a superficial effect on the unfolding events. The combat system was fun but mostly shallow and there's not nearly enough of it throughout the game. I also maxed out all abilities and perks well before the end of the game which created a strange void in the last several chapters of the game. Overall, I had a lot of fun with this and I'm looking forward to more as long as there is some forward momentum to the next game, whatever that ends up being.
