So upset about this because I love, LOVE most things about this game. The art is breathtaking, Rolua is a phenomenal artist. The subdued, dreary story about what it is to be human - excellent. The characters are fun, tea parties are fun.
So, namely everything except for the fucking abysmal gameplay. I really tried, but even Crystar's gameplay was better for me. The fighting is absolutely cluttered with nonsense and it makes it nearly impossible to tell what's going on, and when to dodge/counter. Attacking gives no feeling of actually doing anything. Equipment system is bad.

Dungeons are literally all the same, just hallways. Optional branches doesn't tell you the recc level, and I go into one and it's a boss like 30 levels higher than me, one shots me and have to restart the dungeon. Fuck you.
If this had a competent battle system it could have been a GREAT game.
