Unlike other BRs I have played, there has never been a point in this game where I thought "this is fucking stupid. Why did they add this". I can't say the same for many others I have played. Apex is a PHENOMINAL shooter that bases itself on Titanfall, which is considered one of the best movement shooters of all time. It may not have the same movement, but the gunplay is silky smooth. I love hearing and seeing the shields chip off of players rapidly. I love grappling with Pathfinder over long distances. I love how I came back to the game many months later, and the game was still exactly how I remembered it while still containing refreshing new aspects. This is definitively my favorite BR and one of my favorite shooters of all time.

Earlier seasons were great. New ones are not. I still enjoyed the time when the game was good though

As a game it obviously wasn't good. But as a social experience and a motivator to go outside and absorb my surroundings, it was great

The first time I played beginners queue I was shit on by my teammates who definitely did not belong in that queue with me. Not a welcoming experience for newcomers
2017
This game was never that incredible, but the community I built in-school and online made the time I sunk into it all worth it. The peak of the game's lifespan was around the time we were getting weekly weapon updates and Octo Expansion. Even if this peak is long gone, the lasting impact this game has had on me is undeniable. Don't know if it's still worth getting now though.

I don't know why this particular game stood out to me as my favorite. Maybe it was the music. Maybe it was the characters. I don't really know. But I do remember having a blast. Definitely not for everyone, I just rate games high when they provide me with Serotonin.

The removal of the unique costumes in Super Mario Bros. style was the largest crime against humanity ever. Also didn't really provide that much over the first
Not very memorable to be honest, did like the Latios/Latias fly system a lot though
