Phenomenal game, with an amazing soundtrack, and amazing lore. My only complaint is that you get lost way too often; a large chunk of my time on my first playthrough was spent navigating which is fun for a while but can become tedious after a while of running loops around areas trying to find the nook you are supposed to be in. I could just wiki things but the game should be able to tell you where to go on its own. Other than that, I found it to be a near-perfect game.

I finished the original, got as far as Heide's Tower of Flame in the remake and realised they added a big fuck off dragon on the small platform with the lever. I decided that I'm satisfied finishing the game once and I don't wanna know how many more dumb enemies they added to the runbacks.
