An almost perfect remake of some of my favourite games ever. They're fantastic late 90's collectathon games with great characters and levels. There are a few redesigns and recasted voices I don't like as much and it's a bit buggy sometimes, but that hardly takes away from how beautifully crafted this is.

Pretty fun DLC but I'm just not that into Roguelites/likes. It's not the DLC's fault or anything, I just have no desire to replay it after beating it once.

This is what every Mario rpg should strive to be like

Basically a perfect sequel to what I considered to be a perfect Spider-Man game. They made almost everything I didn't think needed to be improved better. The story, the action, the traversal, the music... everything is so much better here.

My only real complaint is the fact that it seems like it's a bit buggy, I even once wasn't able to progress without restarting to the last checkpoint. Even then, that didn't really affect my enjoyment of this game.

It's perfect. There's not even much to say because of how perfect it is. It has everything I've ever wanted from 2D Mario and more.

It's 100% my new favourite 2D Mario game now.

I do really enjoy most of this game but oh my god the lows are so so sooo low. The Fang boss and ESPECIALLY the final boss are so frustrating like why are they so long AND WHY ARE THERE NO CHECKPOINTS DURING THEM.

I'm pretty mixed about the music too because there are some good songs but then there's shit that sounds like it came right out of Sonic 4. I really wish Tee Lopes did the whole soundtrack, his songs in this are great and made me want more like it.

I'm being really fucking generous with this rating but it is a pretty solid game if you can deal with the lows.

Better than I thought it would be for the first game in the series. The Pikmin AI were a bit frustrating to deal with but it was pretty enjoyable overall.

I love everything except for playing the game

The individual games themselves are great but the collection as a whole is just alright. Probably the best way to play them officially but they could've done more and they still haven't even tried to work out the music licensing with Sonic 3. I'd recommend it to anyone who has never played them before or just wants a convenient way to play them.

After finally dedicating myself to playing through the entirety of Sonic Unleashed for the first time, I realised that it's not as terrible as some people claim. I was genuinely captivated by the game's immersive atmosphere, and in terms of visuals, it has aged remarkably well. The music, in particular, stands out as some of my all-time favourite in the series, flawlessly capturing the essence of each area.

One of the most surprising aspects was how the developers nearly perfected the boost formula on their first attempt. I appreciated the challenge presented by certain stages as well. However, the game's most contentious aspect, the werehog stages, added an intriguing dimension to the gameplay. I found myself drawn to the exploration required to collect medals, though, the werehog stages tended to overstay their welcome, especially in the later parts of the game. Additionally, the combat mechanics could be a bit frustrating, especially with the constant interruptions in the music. Nevertheless, once I got used to the combat, it did offer a sense of satisfaction.

Sonic Unleashed had the potential to become one of the finest Sonic games, but it's unfortunate that a few factors, primarily the werehog stages, hold it back significantly. This has resulted in many people missing out on an engaging and unique Sonic experience, which is genuinely a shame.

Very enjoyable as my first Pikmin game. Hoping to have as much fun with the earlier games whenever I pick those up. Only major issue I had was finding the pilot which for some reason was in a completely different area than what everywhere online said when I was first confused.

Genuinely thought this couldn't top BOTW for me but it fucking did.

Masterpiece.

Poorly optimised and buggy port of an otherwise great game.
