First things first I will go through the positives because there are only two

1. The gameplay is fine at best when not switching between the main controls and the motion controls, will talk more about that.

2. For a Wii game it doesn't look bad, the cutscenes are nice and the game looks good.

Now let's move on to the negatives for one thing the story I won't go into much detail about, because its already been talked by many many people one of them by Matt McMuscles which provided a very good explanation of, but in short the story was very bad which is the main point of of the game? and Ridly is a little rodent creature????? but anyway there's the bad side of the controls wich forces you to play the Wii remote sideways which is odd and felt a little clunky when switching between motion controls which means you have to stand still during combat to use it by pointing the Wii remote just to use the dam missles and that includes healing too making it very frustrating trying to find a spot or even leave the area to heal by swinging the Wii remote up and holding A gaaaah when in the previous games you kill an enemy they either drop health or missiles, throw that shit out the window lets not do that in this game lets make the ENEMIES DROP NOTHING, NOT EVEN THE MAIN STAPLE OF THE GAME ABILITIES, WHICH WOULD BE UNLOCKED BY ADAMS, FUCKING ADAM, that whole lava section has been memed upon by the community, and I went into this game with an open mindset thinking "oh, it can't be that bad" whelp I was wrong this isn't even Metroid this is a action game with Metroid slapped on to it, ain't no way in hell I'm going to Federation Force or fucking Blast ball those don't count JESUS CRIST I'm going to cry :( game sucks good bye

Played this day one when it was released on the PS4 and thought it was too fast for a controller, fast forward to 2022 bought a decent PC and so bought it on PC, got all the secondary weapon upgrades, and even the Unamaykr which is a BFG that doesn't use the whole shot (can be handy), but in short this game SLAPS and the soundtrack too. In my opinion even better than 2016, its Frantic, fast-paced and really really good, but would I recommend it to everyone, not really it might be too fast for some and I understand that so I recommend 2016 in those regards.
