Best turn-based jrpg i have played in a long time

Very good remakes of gen 3, I'd rather play these before I play through X and Y again

See my black and white 1 review for my thoughts on gen 5, but this is just the originals with better features and they rule

A bit better than sword and shield simply based on the fact that it tries more new things (but fails in epic fashion at all of said new things) and the story is a bit more memorable. Otherwise, this shit sucks

There's maybe 1 redeeming quality of this game and its the music, as pokemon music never fails. This is really where I think the series went off the rails

I actually really like these games. Again, it is still bad on replay like original sun and moon, however I think the improvements are very noticeable to the story and postgame to where I'd mark this game a full star ahead of the original cuts of the games.

Despite the rating, I did enjoy this game a lot more than X and Y, however it is TERRIBLE on replay.

Looking back, X and Y weren't all that bad, but this is for sure where the series started to take a turn in a direction I wasn't too excited about and can be marked as when the series lost a lot of its original player base for better or worse

I am very nostalgic for this game, I think this is my favorite GBA pokemon game

Behind Platinum and Heartgold, Black and White are some of the best pokemon has to offer and I think if I am looking through it from a more objective lense, this is where Pokemon peaked

This and Platinum are my favorite pokemon games, I don't think pokemon gets much better than this.

I'm going to use forsaken as my main review for destiny 2, as this was the absolute peak of the franchise and I don't think it will ever reach these heights again.

Story wise this expansion has been overtaken as its not very strong in general but its servicable. The real meat and potato's comes from the content and changes this expansion made to the game. Without going into too much detail, Destiny 2 has never been more fun, replayable, and engaging as it was during the Forsaken Era and it's sad to see the state the game is in currently.
