cute visuals + reminded me of the beginner's guide, but that's about as much as i can get myself to say about it
blasted through this in 2 days like some sort of deranged nolifer but i think that's mostly due to how fun this game is! the story is surprisingly easy to sink your teeth into, the characters are alright, and the card gameplay is great too. seems like there's a good amount of variation also, but for now i need to like lie down or something
i REALLY wish they had gone with actual voice actors instead of an assortment of youtubers with microphones of varying qualities whose voices don't even fit the characters that well. Anyway,
playing this for the first time since 2017-- writing still (mostly) holds up, characters are still (mostly) pretty cool and interesting (the way they tackled Joseph's route still stands out to me to this day), the content they added after the release is fun and i just wish there was more of it, and the minigames are kind of bad but that's ok. overall, pretty good time!

every time i play an uchikoshi game i am forced to re-experience the realisation that his stories are the absolute opposite of occam's razor. this applies to this game tenfold

i mean it's fine. i really enjoy the art, and the gameplay (only reason i kept playing really was because i really did enjoy keeping the sleeper alive and functioning even though it was like. stupid easy), and the story has it's moments but it's not something i'll be thinking about for very long. they could use more commas, though

i have literally so many brain problems and issues and i'm starting to think replaying disco elysium over and over is not helping me in that regard
i played this because the main mechanic reminded me of the time travel level in titanfall 2. it is no time travel level from titanfall 2 but it is completely just ok. i have literally no strong feelings about it. the gameplay is alright, the story is meh, the art and animation is pretty good. that's about it
