Surprisingly enjoyable if you think of it as a game to experience, rather than a challenge to complete. Almost finished with my first climb up the mountain, but I plan on doing many more in the future.

I started this game four days ago, and this game has pretty much taken over my life recently. The purpose of this review is to give a record of my experience as I'm exposed to more of this game, starting with my first review at ten hours of playtime.
So far, Risk of Rain 2 has been pure dopamine, just like an Action game should be. There's a variety of characters, all with amazing gimmicks, the enemies are all really interesting to fight against, the environments are beautiful, and the core gameplay concept is fascinating.
So far, this game is incredible, and is continuously introducing me to new concepts that I can explore. The items you can unlock throughout a run are so enjoyable, and it leads to an exciting gameplay experience every time I've played so far.
As of now, I highly recommend playing this game.
