this won best RPG or something? so i downloaded it. i cant tell if im still playing it but every moment has been astonishingly boring. videogame stories have just completely atrophied, copies of copies of copies. some cute spritework

tragically it doesnt even look very good
this game is doing a lot of cool things but the creative direction is moronic. it is extremely disappointing to be sent into eastern europe in the 1930s and have zero textual engagement with socialism or fascism. this game feels like it's trying to evoke thirdhand historical nostalgia without having even the slightest interest in history. the characters are basically tropes, racism included. the tactics layer is alright. the gameplay premise of a stealth realtime mode that pops into tactics combat is just a bad idea, taken together with the level structure. unfortunately.
