Fun combat, that gives you lots of options to choose from. Story and world is very interesting and touches on some intriguing themes, with great narration to tell it to you with. Beautiful art style and awesome music to jam out to during fights, but also hits hard emotionally.

Pure fun. Always moving to the next creative idea that expands the games concepts further, and doesnt overstay its welcome by the end.

Expands on everything done in BotW, for better and worse. The new abilities give you a new level of freedom, making the game far closer to a sandbox than BotW already was.

The story is a lot more interesting compared to the previous entry, but is still told in mostly the same way and many cinematics can be repetitive, specifically after dungeons.

Though the world has been expanded on, now being nearly 3 and half maps, they dont end up containing enough to make them exciting throughout the game. The depths quickly become repetitive and lack and environmental variety, outside of a few locations. The sky islands are fairly sparse throughout the map, which wouldnt be much of a problem, if there was more done with them. Many islands repeat the same ideas or dont end up having much on them, making them feel far less interesting, than i feel they should for how infrequently you visit them.

The combat has been improved a lot with the fuse mechanic, allowing you to use your materials to enhance your weapons, which also makes the durability much less of an issue than it was in BotW.
