Umineko is metafiction in which the characters argue over whether it is a fair-play mystery or a fantasy story, but per that premise, the murders are in fact compliant with whodunnit genre rules.
There's one element of the solution that doesn't 100% play fair (IYKYK), but for the most part it does.
