I actually liked this game, even when I went in with very low expectations considering everyone was saying horrible things about it... turns out it's way better than I thought! I liked how Ellie's character developped, even if for the worse, because it shows how human she is. The ending wrecked me. I have to say I don't agree with one of the director's choices (look it up) but overall was not as bad as people made it out to be

One of the very first games I played on my PS4, I loved it very much and replayed it a few times. A classic! Very much recommend for people getting into this "zombie" genre

Game was never truly appealing to me and at some point became immeasurably boring. Loved Kaeya though

I went back to unlocking all endings after I was done with Replicant and I have a few things to say. I am glad this game introduced me to this amazing franchise, its graphics and gameplay are astoundingly good for an introduction too... but Replicant wins when it comes to characters and storytelling, I am not saying the characters here weren't good, but everyone in Replicant was so memorable and left me emotionally scarred forever. 2B, 9S, theyre good characters but dont even have chemistry with each other! A2 is my favorite here, and her character seems to be one of the most interesting (out of MCs). Im not giving it 5 stars because of that... characters werent that interesting

I originally borrowed this game from an ex friend (physical copy) and I really enjoyed it, but won't actually get to play ever again if I don't buy it... not sure if I will!

Debated in between shelved or abandoned... but I genuinely do not remember liking this game, what a shame

Using this review to conflate my thoughts on the HC series: UNDERRATED MASTERPIECE. I had completely different theories and beliefs starting from ep 1, then it turned out to be something entirely different and unexpected. I loved how the characters and everything were fleshed out, especially relating to the MCs. This game made me extremely sad and I'll always remember it. Keeping an eye on the creator's new games!!!

I played the original, but in this case I couldn't remember much. So, in this game, I truly felt like I was doing a lot of new things and in general came to love it a lot. The doll maker feature added a tiny cute detail, I missed this game a lot!

2022

Great remake! Funnily enough, I finished the game in one sitting because of how much I remembered from the original. Can't even consider it as playing a whole new game, but layout was amazing

Korean incels and the company ruined this game for me, have fun playing

2020

May return to do the Hikikomori route, but overall a very cute and heartbreaking game. For now, I'll mark it as completed

Great entry for the series, but the outdated camera angles and controls made the experience horrible. It's funny when you can't even get your character to run or turn around fast enough... in a survival horror game!

So I finally got all endings and well. I do regret not playing this before Automata! But damn. THIS IS A MASTERPIECE I loved every single bit of it, all of the characters are loveable and worth remembering. The story, the graphics, the camera angles, THE MUSIC and different mechanics... it's impossible not to love this game even if you aren't into RPG. Even the novel bits were so beautifully written and sad, I just came to love this game way more than I imagined!

Play this game. Even if you played Automata first like I did, you'll even start noticing the similarities both in gameplay and story. PLAY THIS GAME!!!!! I will now let this consume my brain for weeks
