Unlike a certain other person posting a review on this game, I actually like Solitaire better as a singleplayer game.

That being said, after mastering this game you'll never step in dog poop ever again.

Really charming game, but in the end, hampered by how limited it is in scope.

This is truly a great game, well designed, with a great story and gameplay. It's one of a kind.

Albeit I played this game before multiplayer and horizontal orientation was a thing, but I still hate it.

How come Diddy Kong is a high tier even though his ability seriously hampers him? Why is Dr. Baby Golden Bowser Jr. a thing? How come I have to get gold pass for literally anything?

Only gripes with this game is that the multiplayer balancing gets more unpredictable the higher level you are, the campaign power balancing gets more unpredictable the higher level you are, the AI gets more unpredictable the higher level you are, and I can't play past campaign levels again because I just want to win something for once.

Story sucks, controls are ok, design is mediocre.

However, the co-op gimmicks are great, and it feels pretty decent for a fps.

It looks really good, it's decently fun, but guess what?

It's a gacha game.
You earn cars by earning their respective cards. While you could at least grind to eternity on A8 to get cars, now this makes it an outright game of chance.

At least it has funny Reddit clips because of its wack physics engine.

Edit: It earns half a star for the decent split-screen mode. That being said, still p2w.

To be honest, I miss the old PE. This would have the same appeal as older versions of JE; it's more simple, and sometimes there's funny bugs.

It's actually better than Java Edition, in terms of performance. That being said, it's even worse regarding third-party content like plugins and mods. At least it seems to have Mojang's attention, moreso than Java.

Now that we have adjectives, is it better? Honestly, I don't think it adds much beyond the original game other than that. It's still a solid game, but I feel like it loses some of the charm from the original game.

The game, when it first came out, was an groundbreaking and original game. There's really nothing to compare it with. Future games may have added adjectives, but they still derive heavily from the original game.

One of the best parts of the game, that I think a lot of people miss out on, is the joy of finding seemingly random objects that happen to be massively useful. Not every level has to be solved with a gun, Trex, and car, when you can use tommy gun, Shoggoth, and hovertank.

For a sandbox and plane enthusiast, this is pretty much the best thing for casual plane building.

My only gripe about the legendary sandbox game is that Mojang seems to work at a glacial pace, without much community input; save the recent updates and bug tracking from Mojira.

Vanilla is kinda boring. I just feel like certain mods/plugins, such as OptiFine, TooManyItems, WorldEdit, Carpenter's Blocks, etc. don't seem that hard to implement into the actual game. Mojang has implemented popular mods before (the horse used to be a mod). I don't see why they can't go through the effort to implement some of the truly amazing mods out there. That would benefit their relationship with their community.

It used to be good. That was before GameLoft decided that tokens were the way to go, and made everything impossible to buy. To be the best, you now have to grind an thousands of hours to get a car that will be bad next month.

That being said, even the ordinary campaign and multiplayer lost its luster. I used to be able to get whatever car I wanted, and race it, and feel good about destroying noobs with it. Now, everything is a grind, a reminder that there really is no attainable endgame in a game that had past its heydays.

There's a better racing game gacha out there, it's called Asphalt 9.
