Not as great as the first one but good enough as a sequel + deserves to achieve a trilogy. First game I finished on Netflix!

2020

Played it this Halloween Week. Definitely an experience one has to go through in order to understand it, of course, in the right headspace. As someone who loves Psychological Thrillers with dashes of comedy, uplifting beats and wholesomeness, Omori, as a Videogame exceeded my expectations. This also reminded me to catchup on Night Vale and it made my experience so much better.

Also, after playing as usual, I went ahead and dived on dev documentaries. I can finally say that this is indeed a Masterfully Crafted Passion Project. Omocat, I’m a fan!

My GOTY so far! Intricate Lighting System (Gameplay) sold the Narrative it wanted to portray.

Exceeded all my wildest expectations! Favorite Master Sword pull in the franchise!

Pixelizer fueled the Game Dev in me!

Love letter to classic JRPGs. Spent 60+ hrs enjoying the beautiful narration and art style, killer soundtrack and satisfying mechanics/combat to master.
