The first Luminous Avenger iX perfected Copen gameplay, this one, for some reason, changed it in a way that makes the fast paced action slower???. But a great 2D action game nevertheless.
Reminds me a little of yakuza / like a dragon games with a bit of anime girls. Good art and combat gameplay, but can get a little repetitive by the end.
The art style and the combat are the main aspect of this game, and it delivers. Two distinct playable characters with their own campaign and gameplay. The translation could be improoved and some gameplay mechanics better explained.
The first Lords of Shadow was unfairly hated, this one not so much. The combat is still good but it could learn a thing or two about enemy behaviour with dmc. The scenarios are not as great and varied as Lords 1 and the stealh sections are as bad as people say, but not so frequent.
Good game with initially 2 playable characters each with their own gameplay and upgrades. What is interesting is that the canon story is the one of the 3rd character that only unlocks after ending the game at least once.
Average game. The co-op missions are really unbalanced if you're playing alone. Grind heavy for money (needed for better equipaments). The amount of collectables on map are overwhelming (as with almost all AC games). Really liked the detective missions even though the rewards were nothing special.
First experience with the Kunio series. One of the 2D beat 'em up that I enjoyed the most. The writing is funny, the art is great and the gameplay with rpg elements is good.
I understand that people though it was too long and while it really could be shorter, it is a terrific experience. The dungeons ideas are specially good.
