Playing this is the equivalent of watching an OVA from the 90´s with his quirky english dub in a saturday morning during a summer. A super charming metroidvania-like shooter with amazing aesthetic and vibes and a story kinda inoffensive until the last 20 minutes of the game, my main complaint is actually the gameplay itself then again how much can I ask from a game released in 1997? but still it feels super janky to play and in some areas it becomes kinda tedious because of this. Aside from that, I can see why many people have it such regard and maybe if I had played this as a child I would have loved it even more, sadly that was not the case.
