The Definitive* Ranking of Games**: 2020

* in my opinion
** that I've played since our simulation rebooted in 2020

Will be updated as I play more games from this year

Don't worry, I'll move Baldur's Gate III once Backloggd's release dates match the official release

One of the best gameplay worlds one could ever ask for. Every detail in every locale--from the decorations and items scattered about to the highly fleshed-out NPCs they contain--is expertly crafted. Combine that with an epic fantasy tale, a fun take on D&D 5e mechanics, and the best RPG party ever assembled, and you get one of the best CRPGs of all time.
This game came out of nowhere to completely blindside me with its excellent VA work, beautiful world, and clever puzzles. I enjoyed the creepy Lovecraftian vibes, but do wish it had managed a few scares to really enhance the whole experience.
This game came out of nowhere to blindside me with its beautiful visuals, quality VA work, and clever puzzles. The creepy Lovecraftian underpinnings really made this game a hard title to put down.
