Sable

2021

It's a science-fantasy Breath of the Wild without the annoying weapon degradation mechanic, or any weapons whatsoever, or combat.

That being said, the atmosphere is excellent, the art style fits everything so well, and it was a joy to explore the open world without having to worry about running into any Bokoblins.

I really needed this early 2000s flash game energy in my life.

While not a true co-op game, I highly recommend playing with a partner! My gf and I had a blast putting our sleuthing skills to the test together. :)

A remarkably profound, consistently creative journey that never ceased to amaze me. Glenn Pierce, I love ya.

Superliminal is overall a fantastic game. It doesn't last too long, develops its ideas of using perspective quite well, and have a charming story/narrative behind it. A very fun little experience all around.

A copy of my steam review
Ok i am going to preface this review with the notion that i am very drunk, i am currently listening to the soundtrack and im writing a paper for my college course, and god fucking damn do i fucking love this game, i fucking love it so fucking much, Im having trouble putting it into words why i love this game, it could be because of the amount of drinks that ive had in the last 10 minutes. This game is smart, witty, fun, and clever. I've played this game like 5 times, every time someone stays at my house i make them play it, i even got the physical switch collectors edition. if you want an amazing game, please play Superliminal,

Also, developers,if you're reading this, if you could, please print the soundtrack physically, i dont care if its cassette, CD, vinyl or motherfucking 8 track, please.

I don't usually have that childlike wonder that I did playing games anymore. I think everyone loses that as they get older as well as nowadays it's blocked by the fact that under the hood I know everything in the game is within the bounds of what the developers have coded. This games atmosphere, story, and gameplay gets rid of all those boundaries. It convinces you anything is possible. The narrators continuously try to take control of your situation and you take it back every time by breaking the rules and making your own path. It lets you fully tap into that childlike imagination and it makes for an experience that everyone should have.

Great puzzle game and actually left somewhat of an impact. Can be beaten in under 2 hours so there's no reason to not try this.

This game fucked me up and turned me into an abstract concept. My mother just does not understand what I have turned into and my pets live in fear.

Absolute masterpiece. Really innovative gameplay, coupled with a great message and big introspective moments. A puzzle game that is sort of a mixture between Inception, Portal and the Stanley Parable.

Great narration, great story, great puzzles, great journey. By the end of it I had chills all over me. It just keeps breaking expectations. The soundtrack is also amazing and contributes to the dreamlike feel of playing it.

It's all about perspective.

Really fucking great game that I completely fucking ruined by playing on switch tbh. Just doesn't work as well on controller

fun multiplayer game that nails those tense moments in each play session. visually & auditorily stunning w/ great voice acting which hammers in the pride & fear in each copy/paste protector of democracy. upgrades/menus felt accessible which enticed me to explore new gear options. loved the culture around this game too. i feel like the over-the-top themeing with the hints of sarcasm/ironisism helped me & the community jump all over this as true fighters for freemon.

i enjoyed it! played mostly solo but the experience is tremendous when with others. will hop back in from time to time im sure!

saw this game on game pass and while i usually don't get into games like this i really liked the artstyle so i gave it a shot and i really enjoyed it. it was such a nice game to just open up play a night or 2 and then go to bed. all of the characters are really charming and i was always interested to know their stories/ what was happening in their lives. i don't really have much else to say this was just a really relaxing game for me and i loved it for that

I personally think that coffee talk was a very serviceable game. A cute visual novel like experience with a side of slight interactivity that was overall well put together. The stories of the characters where cute to follow, the world building was unique, and the music suited the feel of this game perfectly. A very good representation of its genre.

Coffee Talk is the kind of game I needed to take a break from my normal video game routine and also try to alleviate some of my gaming fatigue. Sometimes, I just need a relaxing game to get me through the night after a stressful day. During my playthrough, I felt like I was curling up with a good book under a blanket, sipping a warm beverage, zen mode activated. It's been a while since I've felt so at ease while playing a game, so I really appreciated my time with it!

Coffee Talk is a game that a few years ago I probably never would've given a chance but I'm so glad that I did. I've never played a visual novel type game before and I'm quite happy that Coffee Talk was my first, I love everything about this game, characters are all unique and loveable, the soundtrack was just a joy to listen to and even making the coffee and discovering new recipes was fun. I loved the stories for all the characters, I found all of them quite relatable and it made me care for each individual character, I also liked the inclusion of the newspaper in the loading screens, even though you spend the game in your small coffee shop it made the world feel big. I absolutely adore Coffee Talk, its easily became one of my favourite games and I cannot wait to play the episode two.
