When playing Marvel’s Spider-Man, the way Miles Morales was used was one of my issues so I was a bit hesitant when I heard they were actually going to follow up and make a game with him as the main character. DAMN, I was wrong! Spider-Man: Miles Morales brings back everything that made the original so memorable and fun while improving on character, story, pace, and combat; while peppering in a much cooler vibe.

“Exile makes sense when you realize, you were never really home in the first place.”

One of the most heart-rending and rewarding experiences I’ve had in gaming as of yet. What this game may lack in combat variations and a number of its puzzles, its immensely rich narrative and breathtaking audio design more than makes up for it. I will literally buy a next gen Xbox just for the sequel.

I’m a Black Cat simp so ‘The Heist’ was easily my favorite chapter of “The City That Never Sleeps” DLC. Bummer that the following two chapters didn’t match in quality.

Not only is this the definitive Spider-Man game, it’s the definitive portrayal of the character on screen. From multiple films to this fantastic game, 2018 was such a dope year to be a Spider-Man fan.

A complete juggernaut that will make you wish all gaming experiences were this emotional and rewarding.

A modern classic with incredible character work and world building that wonderfully paved the way for our current generation of gaming and storytelling.
