For the love of god, play this game, and do it blind. I cannot describe how much I love this game without spoiling it, but it's fantastic.

Very good game. I saw it described as the Binding of Isaac meets Animal Crossing, which... Is not entirely wrong. If you don't like the latter, you likely won't enjoy this. But it's very good if you do. Still haven't finished because of my Final Fantasy interest, though.

It's a fine game, but you would be spending just over 1,000 dollars if you bought the base game and every expansion at time of writing. There are better Sims games, and someday, there will be better life simulation games. Them making the base game free after 8 years doesn't excuse this.

Good expansion full of big emotional punches. Alisaie's VA especially knocks it out of the park. Another game with a character whose issues are very similar to mine, and again handled pretty well. There are a few parts where it seems to be trying to emulate Shadowbringers a bit too much rather than stand out on its own, but otherwise enjoyable.

Absolutely fantastic expansion. I went in completely unspoiled and was delighted. Saw one of the big twists near the end coming from the moment I entered the Crystarium, but the other bits of lore were fantastic. The entirety of Il Mheg is good, too, but that's just because I'm nonbinary and love the fae.

Not quite as good as Heavensward, but still quite good. Splintering the story between Ala Mhigo and Doma was certainly better than making them each their own expansion, but the way it was done still felt a bit abrupt. The Omega raids are fucking perfect, though, because they put a Chocobo ala the spinoff games in there.

This expansion won awards for a reason. The story isn't perfect, but it's a vast improvement over ARR. Does a much better job at establishing characters and their relationship with the Warrior of Light, which is in no small part helped by the fact your character is finally able to respond in cutscenes.

This review only covers the A Realm Reborn storyline, which is... Not entirely great. It was quite a slog, and the story itself is firmly mediocre. Knowing the story gets better and this is just the groundwork helps, but god, it was a lot of groundwork.

One of my favorite games of all time. One of the later characters especially reflects a mental issue I struggle with in real life, and it's portrayed very well.
