Effortlessly great survival horror design cradling a rich, impressionist tale of abstract decay. Beautiful writing.

exhilarating video game. consistently great missions, ascended UI, and some of kota hoshino's best work hyping you up the whole time.

i dont have the heart to be mean to redfall but it does not deserve my sympathy

all i want to do is shove the exec who made them make a shlooter into a locker

The most accomplished Gunblade NY pastiche out there. A rare treat in a world where rail shooters are a lost art.

Really just a stupid amount of Stuff inside a slickly designed rhythm game. I don't even need to mention the fanservice.

Excellent first-person-downhill-biking simulation with an ultimately sort of disappointing structure.

Really wish we got the Hall Of Meat mode from SKATE in here, though.

how the fuck are you gonna make a rail shooter and then make the guns sound like politely knocking on a god damned door

ranks real high in the pantheon of "games where you tell your buds to go do stuff and then watch them do it"

ioi's legacy shows in these wonderfully constructed levels full of tunnels and alleys with which to flank your assailaints

skip the cutscenes though

I can't really say anything nice about this game's presentation.

At least it functions, more or less.

Edit: I dropped this fuckin thing after 100 hours because I had too many other games to play but there was STILL MORE STORY???!?!?!??! This thing is wild. BEWARE.

Something about NIS games and having way too many systems stuffed into 'em. Thankfully, the mechanics which do matter still make for a wonderful search-action RPG.

Can't wait to see what the deal with all this "endgame" stuff is.

Text adventure surrealism that metes out its mechanical tricks well through its playtime. For fans of milk inside/outside, Hylics, YN-likes.

please, take me away, monstergirl lady. bring me to your tribe so i may be free

The best behind-the-ship rail shooter on Playstation - I have no idea who has the patience for the cutscenes between levels, though.

Most advanced rail shooter on the NES. This game rules - it's got levels with enemy formations synced to classical music chiptunes, elaborate visual setpieces, mid-level dialog - and it even plays great!

Really mushy Star Fox clone that seems to have put more effort into the score attack than making the actual flying feel good.
