surprisingly an absolute banger!! it's such a shame it's apple arcade exclusive because this game deserves to be played by more people! the plot isn't the most amazing thing in the world but the fact that this game has a plot and full voice acting at all is really awesome!
the controls are what makes this game SO good! they're impressively responsive and each character is satisfying to control. in particular, i love the way rail grinding and light speed dashing works in this game, it's some of the most responsive on the series! the level design is awesome too with each level being inspired by a skatepark with multiple different paths to take.
such an awesome game, highly recommend it if you're able to play it!

who'd have known an april fools day joke would turn out to be one of the most fun sonic experiences i've had in a while? this was an absolute joy from start to finish with beautiful artwork, charming character interactions and a fun storyline!

genuinely no where near as bad as people are making it out to be. after seeing what people were saying on twitter, i was expecting this to be a buggy, badly designed mess but it was the total opposite and i had an absolute blast! very cute game with great level design, fun gimmicks and perfect controls that feel exactly like the classics. trip is also my new favourite character, she's adorable :)
my only gripes are a few songs don't sound too great (they sound very sonic 4-y) and the final boss fights were a little tedious.

i really wanted to like this game because it's super cute and i love the art style but it got boring and repetitive pretty quickly. although it was fun for a bit, i stopped enjoying it after a while. i may come back to it later, though because the potential is there!

the level design starts out great but then it rapidly goes down hill and becomes one of the most frustrating sonic experiences i've ever had. even without the controversies, this game is not good.
played it a lot as a kid but didn't really know what i was doing lol. kinda just ran around for a bit.

very short but very sweet and i loved every single second! the island is so fun to explore, the dialogue is adorable and the story is really sweet! highly recommend :)
i enjoyed it as a kid, especially in multiplayer, but revisiting it now, i realise that it's not that interesting.

extremely buggy and crashes a lot but i must admit, i do really love this game! it controls well, there's a nice range of characters and the levels are very well made! it's a shame the engine is so old.
objectively the best out of the classic sonic games in every way! although, i can't help but feel like it's overrated and fans who say 3&k is the best sonic game ever are annoying af so it's tainted the game for me slightly.

this game peaks with green hill. it's an alright game but the level design isn't very fast which defeats the purpose of sonic tbh.

a massive improvement from the first game! i have a soft spot for this game because it was my favourite classic game as a kid!

i had a LOT of fun playing this with my brother!! we were both bad at it but that's okay because it was fun.
