ah man was hoping you would make it to Kanto in G/S, very interested in your take. as a kid who had never played RBY the feeling of beating Gold and then ending up in basically a whole second game with all these echoes of a past i had no context for was super interesting. can't blame you for tapping out before then though

this feels way ahead of it's time design-wise (as usual for Nifflas) - right now games like mosa lina and animal well are exploring similar design ideas. highly, highly recommended for fans of systemic interactions between lots of different items. i wish this had been successful so we could have seen more exploration of these ideas - the game just scratches the surface of some complicated stuff before wrapping up.
