Honestly the aesthetics were everything even if the gameplay was pretty simple. I loved it on a spooky October night and ps1 nostalgia vibes.

I liked the storylines and fun RPG elements, but after one playthrough of a full arc, I wasn’t interested in revisiting anyone. Fun world building but that’s about it.

The music design and art direction are world class. Tentpole moments of each act really nail the emotional journey. The gameplay lacks significantly but makes up for it in the story and art.
