3 stars: inherently flawed to the point that it makes it difficult to enjoy any good parts of the game.
3.5 stars: there are good parts, but there's also worse parts that detract from the overall experience.
4 stars: good game. while there may be some flaws, they aren't significant enough to be that memorable.
4.5 stars: really good game. play this one for sure, it's super fun and will give you tens of hours of enjoyment
5 stars: a goddamn masterpiece. so far, this is only portal 2.

i wanted to love this game. and for a time, i really did like it! the beginning is magical and you feel like the world is your oyster. but purely procedural generation means the universe is a mile wide and an inch deep. i lost the desire to explore when i realized there wasn't anything real to find, just random permutations of algorithmically generated settings.
really fun and engaging game, but bugs with finding bodies made me put it down. really do recommend though, the gameplay loop is super engaging and enjoyable. i just had some issues that made me shelve it for now
really fun, gameplay loop is super engaging and allows for lots of experimentation. definitely worth your time
