gameplay was actually pretty a'ight but my god i have no idea how the story managed to drag on and on for so long and add so little to the overarching plot

one of the best stories in kingdom hearts! but at the end of the day it was a gatcha like any. i spent more money on this game than i wanna admit. i remember a time in life where this was the only game i played and the party i started was always in the top 50 on the leader boards.

at 18 my ex boyfriend showed me this game and it's the only thing i feel thankful of from that relationship LMAO. 8 is the only ff i've felt genuine fondness and lasting interest in, i can quote so many lines purely from memory, and the lovestory between squall and rinoa will always be so beautiful to me!

my first jrpg and i hold a special fondness for it. i still love the songs to this day and i can't wait to play the rerelease for switch!

my favorite part was when sumia punched chrom in the face

gameplay was fine enough, fire emblem as always, but story went a little too hog wild with the problematic s support choices

didn't think this game would surpass my fondness for three houses but it somehow did! the characters were lovable and i'm glad i had the choice to s support whomever i wanted regardless of my choice in avatar

sooo cute loved the different fashion choices. heard there was a dating aspect in the japanese version? slightly weird choice but even weirder to take it out of the na version

for some reason i hated the characters models as a kid but i love them now
