Resistance 3
Resistance 3 is godly and a serious improvement over the previous 2 games. Gunfights are fast, frenetic, and incredibly satisfying. The Weapon wheel returns from 1 and now you can carry a whole damn arsenal in your pocket. Insomniac adopted the gun leveling system from Ratchet & Clank and made every weapon feel great to use along with its secondary fire. The difficulty is more balanced with many tools to deal with the chimeran opposition. Man, I can't even describe how much I loved this game. Seriously, this is one of the best FPS ever.

Resistance 2
Excellent, brutal, tough as nails! I am experienced with this genre and action games in general but, Resistance 2 amps it up from Fall of man in terms of encounters and sheer force. You'll be thrusted into gun fights with the toughest of chimera. There is plenty of satisfaction with the gunplay to be had and checkpoints are much, much more prevalent. Trust me, you'll be glad for this addition.
The Auger is the gun you want the most and the worst gun when in the hands of enemies. My advice is to try your dam nest to kill those guys first before anyone else. I played on the normal difficulty (two stars), and it was a moderately challenging experience so if you were to lower the difficulty, I don't blame you one bit.
I must agree with the other reviewer and their comment about doing something with Nathan's chimera infection as a source of powers. That would have been cool and something to truly expand upon. I think that’s what’s really keeping me from giving this a 5 due to this seriously missed oppurtunity. There is a segment that gives wishful vibes for the whole game but yeah. Still, I quite enjoyed this one.

Resistance: Fall of Man
A solid, although a bit dated of an FPS. Early PS3/Xbox 360 had a certain charm but weren’t flawless. Regardless though, I really like the setting of the game along with the cool weapons you get to use that mostly come from the Chimera. AI is like Killzone levels of on your case. They won’t let up. Can't just bum rush encounters or it’s a quick death. Gonna play 2 and see how that fares.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
It's truly astronomical how much bigger San Andreas is to vice city. How do you improve what is already fixed? I remember when this came out it shocked everyone on how godly this iteration of the series is. There is so much explore and do. Incredibly difficult for Rockstar to top this game. I've completed, 3, vice city and this one on Xbox. At 480p and slight increases to performance, they are its best. Honestly, I wouldn't even touch the remastered versions.

Fracture
A decent TPS with a unique gimmick of shifting the terrain in the battlefield. You can use this ability to make cover for yourself and solve environmental puzzles. The gunplay ever so slightly riffs off Gears of War although unlike that game you are going to be moving and jumping a lot. As a matter of fact, this game takes a bit from Halo too with the shield regeneration and vehicle sections. It was hard for me to not notice frankly.
Enemies have serious aim so you can't just bum rush encounters or you'll die a quick death. There are some boss fights but nothing too special. I feel like I've said this before, but I seriously miss this era of shooters. They didn't have to be narrative masterpieces, just good ol gunning action, it just so happens that Fracture provides a more unique take on it.
