This was my first game of the year for some reason. was interested in the steam punk look, and honestly was surprised by how much I like the combat system. I seriously never play games like this, but it was hard to put down and I played it mostly over long stretched out sessions in the winter haze. I've also been unemployed for a while now. So this was a game I spent time on while not really having any grasp on life and society, and many characteristics of my lifestyle had become what some would describe as degenerate. Shelved for now since I'm trying to be a little more normal lately.

I'll consider this a christmas game now. One of my favorite childhood games but funny I never actually finished it back then. Picked it back up and finished it for the first time while visiting family for the holidays this year. Nothing critical to say about it, it's just cozy and fun. Happy to have finally earned the ending after all these years.

idk, kind of a confusing ordeal for me. i never watched this show, but was alive when it was really relevant, and also when people were rewatching it when i was like in college. as a game, it actually plays and feels pretty fine, just nothing revolutionary or interesting -- could basically be any licensed third-person action game. idk, maybe because i was stoned i actually did like it, but at the same time after like an hour I completely vaporized it out of my mind and just turned it off and even forgot i played this now writing this a couple days later. i guess that's how a lot of these are though.
shameless furry bait, but actually pretty fun and i played it earnestly. first game in a while that made me tweak my dolphin settings to get it running smoothly, but whatever. it's pretty fun for a short session, probably a lot better with sticks or at an actual arcade, i never really could enjoy fighting games on console for longer than bursts. anyway, my first game after a bit of a hiatus after moving.

My god, this game is so fun. I really want to know the story behind the english speaking voice actor. It sounds like someone's 14 year old nephew being recorded from a friends computer while they read lines over discord voice chat. I genuinely fired up this game knowing nothing about it and burst into laughter the second I heard this dude speak. Anyway, this game is amazing, it's incredibly fun to play, awesome music, etc.

I can see myself coming back to this series later in the future, but for the time being I got a little impatient with it because it took more than 2 minutes to get used to the controls. Maybe I'm spoiled from having sank so many more hours into snowboarding games on the GC, and those are obviously newer and shinier. I wanted to pick this up for a taste because this is just one of the countless game genres that has virtually disappeared off the face of the planet when it quintessential during this more furtive gaming period. Lots of love for arcade style snowboarding racers and downhill jams.
